The 4th December '06 has now come and gone and work has been completed on your Disability Equality Scheme - it’s here the real work starts in the implementation of your action plan.
Your Disability Equality Scheme should have incorporated an action plan about how your organisation intends to make practical steps towards actively promoting inclusion for disabled people.
Of all of the schemes we've been involved in we've noticed the following common themes:
