The Equality Act

The equality topic of the year, The Equality Act is now finally upon us. From the 1st October 2010 the Act (or at least a large part of the Act) comes into force.

For anybody that ’ s not come across it yet here’s a quick-ish overview:

What we all know / knew as the Disability Discrimination Act, the Race Relations Act, the Gender Equality Act...... now have the collective name of the Equality Act. Although it’s not quite that simple (why would it be!).
